Osiris is commander of the former3140 BCE Ra visits Osiris, secretly seduces a human and impregnates her3139 BCE Tlalli born near present-day San Lorenzo, Mexico3129 BCE At age of 10, Tlalli spies on boys in her tribe, and learns hunting, fishing, fighting through observation.3124 BCE Tlalli becomes a priestess, quickly advances in her status over next several years due to her advanced intelligence3120 BCE Osiris is summoned to Egypt, where Ra tells him he's been appointed the Guardian and to select a Vessel. Egypt flourishes under their guidance: first pyramids, empirical leanings. ~2300 The Pharaohs begin to change the religion to make Ra more prominent that Osiris. Osiris decides to leave Egypt and explore other the world, entrusting Egypt to Tlalli's care.2100 Tlalli leaves in search of Osiris. Will wander the world looking for centuries. Without her, Egypt falls into chaos (first intermediary period). Vessel line is deposed.2000 Tlalli finds Osiris in India, where they live for several hundred years.1740 Tlalli finds the Vessel line in Sumer. Leads them into Egypt to recapture the throne. 1500 Tlalli experiments with sipping life force without killing the host. Hard to find balance. In frustration, exiles herself to Thera, where she and Osiris attempt to perfect the process. In her angst, she draws unknowingly on Earth force, destroys Thera and thousands of lives.1500s-900s Vessel line is deposed again while Osiris and Tlalli live in the Olmec empire. 800s Tlalli returns takes the remnants bloodline north to Macedonia to protect it.330s Guiding the efforts of Alexander the Great, Tlalli has Alexander's half-brother and Vesselbloonliner, Ptomely, established as the pharaoh of Egypt. 80 Fearing that humanity is regressing, Tlalli is convinced by Osiris to leave Egypt and take up residence in Italy.79 Seeing also the laziness and excess of Roman life, Tlalli falls into depression. Osiris tries to appeal to her Altunai superiority by informing her of her actual status (as he knows it) and presenting her with the amulet. The revelation makes Tlalli believe he seems himself superior to her, and that he in his opinion, is only bidding time until the baktuns end. Also fearing her emotions will lead her to reveal that he is actually the subject of the study, she lashes out, causing Vesuvius to explode. Returns to Egypt to see out what she now understands is just a cycle of the Vesselbloodlines reign in Egypt.51 Cleopatra VII comes to power at 18. Tlalli becomes her protector48 When Cleo takes up a relationship with Julius Caesar, Tlalli supports her by manipulating his mind, giving Cleo privledge in Rome41 Cleo falls in love with Mark Anthony. Tlalli knows the relationship is doomed, abandons Cleo to her own devices30 When it is certain Cleo is defeated, Tlalli returns to Alexandria and barters with Octavian for Cleo's life. To save her from Octavian's devices, Tlalli attemps to Bond Cleo. However, she is too weak of body and mind, and dies in the process. Tlalli seeks Osiris' counsel, but is rejected. Tlalli renders Cleo's oldest to Octavian (he is killed), the other three children to Octavia, Antony's Roman widow. She establishes The Order as a cover for her true purposes, and also as a network to foster the bloodline. She creates a proxy whenever Osiris attempts to interact with her, using the selected one as a human shield to throw Osiris off her tracks.1000 AD Homesickness gets the better of Tlalli, and she convinces Leif Erricsson, a Viking, to carry her to the new world. Tlalli buries her momentos of proxies and the amulet on the site of her Olmec village (now in the Mayan empire), for safe keeping. She entrusts the bloodline to the Order. In the Mayan empire, she lives in peace until the arrival of Europeans. 1700 Tlalli reestablishes The Order's operations in England. Early 1800s As Europeans begin to regain interest in ancient Egypt, Osiris becomes more rigorous in his attempts to keep evidence of the Altunai secret, inventing or emphasizing myths about ancient curses as a cover for his occasional murders.Early 1900s World economies boom, and with widespread Egpyt fever, Tlalli discovers she can nicely fund Order operations by fencing artifacts.1920s Osiris murders Howard Carter and his team because of their discovery of Alutunai evidence, covering it up as the curse of King Tut's tomb. 1950s Tlalli invents her Anathea Hermapoulous persona, giving her a base of operation in Egypt and a pulse on world archaeology. She creates a false background that connects Anathea with Howard Carter.1972 Sheppard Smyth is born in Oklahoma.1976 Christine Cezanne is born in New England1987 Alexander Cezanne is born.1990 Shep graduates high school.1994 Shep graduates the University of Oklahoma, Christine graduates high school. Shep goes to grad school at Cambridge, Christine starts the University of Michigan1995 Osiris creates the persona of Dmitri Kronastia, operates in public as a Russian Mafioso1996 Shep receives Masters in Archaeology1997 Christine and Alex's parents are killed in a plane crash. Alex is taken in by members of the Order (unknowingly to him)1999 Christine graduates from UM with degree in ancient middle eastern history2001 Alex goes to boarding school in Switzerland on the Order's tab. There he meets Monique, who will be his lifetime love.2002 Shep appointed to position at Harvard. Osiris (as Dmitri) buys out Plaxis to use a conduit for funds. Begins a cultural center that offers grants at sites he (secretly) believes may potentially be the location of the amulet2004 Shep gets tip on parchment discovered in Ethiopia, later publishes article on his theory of Cleo's murder2005 Tlalli bonds Christine, sends her to Harvard to join Shep's group with the purpose to dissuade her efforts. Alex graduates from high school, starts coterm BBA/MBA at Harvard to be near his sister.2006 Christine falls in love with Shep, renounces her role as a proxy, leaves the Order. 2007 Alexander Cezanne's motorcycle accident in Vermont. As a distraction, she begins thieving from Plaxis warehouses and donating the loot to museums. Because of his public persona, Osiris (as Dmitri) has to operate in the public to remedy Altnunai evidence in the real world.Fall 2011 Tlalli begins secretly grooming Alex for the Priesthood by taking him on an around-the-world trip, teaching him her history and sending him on small retrievals October 2011 Plaxis green lights Project Bullfighter, Hector starts excavations in San Lorenzo.July 2012 Tlalli (as Victoria) writes to Hector Gonzalez, claiming to be a Plaxis-sponsored intern.August 2012 Tlalli (Victoria) joins Project BullfighterSeptember 2012 Osiris (Dmitri) relocates to the United States, under the guise of overseeing a new development by Plaxis in MiamiOctober 2012 Alex is told he has been selected as an acolyte in the Order.November 2012 Shep spends most nights at the bars, sinking deeper into depression and ridicule by his colleaguesMid-December 2012 Project Bullfighter finds the cache of ancient treasures. Differences in 2nd Edition, 12.21.12Chapter 3:• When first examining the Cleo statuette, Shep notes that it is a little on the light side, but chalks it up to mineral depletion caused by the wet, rainforest environment.Chapter 24:• When Dmitri sees Alex has the same eyes as Victoria, he wrongly concludes that Victoria bonded him by the bed.• During the confusion in the warehouse, Victoria tricks Dmitri into believing that she really does love Shep, and that she slept with Alex. Heartbroken, he gives her the amulet and permission to leave. Jose, however, hearing Victoria confess her love for Shep, tries to shot the professor. Dmitri jumps in front and takes the bullet just as Victoria, Alex and Shep port away to Cairo. Chapter 26:• Shep asks Victoria for the scroll to have as proof of Cleopatra’s death. She tells him the scroll was destroyed in the plunge into the Thames.Chapter 30:• Upon arriving to Karnak, Dmitri still discovers Victoria in the midst of trying to open the gate herself. However, she pulls herself from her trance long enough to beg him to leave before it’s too late.• When Victoria breaks from the trance and consumes the amulet, both Shep and Dmitri glow with energy. Chapter 31:• Isis mentions that the integration of humans and Altunai must be slow, lest humans become overwhelmed and Altunai be tempted towards their baser natures. Ra notes it is a wise statement, as they’ve taken their lessons from Horus’ experience.Epilogue:• Dmitri explains to Shep that, had it not been him who killed Christine, he would not have been able to reincarnate her. He can only bring back to life those who’ve died by his own hand. He tells Shep that he’ll be reincarnating
